Spring/Manual Drives (ATS):
Manual spring drives are used to hold open and close fire protection sliding doors. When the door opens, the pre-tensioned closing spring inside the drive is further wound. The optional holding device keeps the door leaf in the open position once it reaches the fully opened position. When activated by the release button or the smoke detector, the holding system is released, and the door closes immediately. The hydraulic closing speed regulator ensures a constant and controlled closing speed.
Motorized Drives (ATS-MOF):
Motorized drives automatically open, hold, and close fire protection sliding doors. The automatic opening can be carried out either in a dead-man operation or with a time preset. In this case, the pre-tensioned closing spring is further wound, or the closing weight is lifted. The opening process can be completed fully or interrupted by releasing the open button or by a stop impulse at any point. The integrated holding device keeps the door securely in the open position. By pressing the close button, the door closes in self-holding mode. In the event of activation (e.g., smoke detectors), forced closing is triggered, and the holding system is deactivated. The hydraulic closing speed regulator ensures constant and controlled closing speed in both cases. SCHNETZ ATS door drives are modular and offer maximum combination and integration flexibility.
